The Burundian Office for the Protection of the Environment (OBPE) is committed to fighting fraud and corruption in all their forms in the operations supported by the Office. The OBPE has put in place tools and actors involved in the management of fraud and corruption through its anti-fraud, anti-corruption and mismanagement policy.
The policy applies to all staff and partners of the OBPE and members of the Board of Directors. Anyone is called upon to denounce cases of fraud, corruption and bad management in which the agents of the OBPE and its collaborators/partners are involved.
This policy is the framework for raising awareness of what constitutes fraud, corruption and mismanagement in the initiatives supported by the OBPE and presents the measures that the Office requires to be put in place to detect and combat the scourges. above cited. It is an affirmation of the OBPE’s commitment to preventing and combating fraud and corruption in the operations supported by the Office. This assertion is motivated by the negative impact of corruption, fraud and mismanagement on development assistance everywhere.
